Connect TSA has a Research and Development Special Interest Group (SIG) of staff who encourage collaborative enquiry and develop reflective practice within their settings. A number of research studies have been conducted in Connect TSA schools in recent years, which have helped to improve standards and foster the use of evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning.

Russet House and Tottenhall Infant School will be working in conjunction with the UCL Institute of Education to take part in a Leading Lesson Study project, the findings of which will be shared across the alliance and the wider borough.
We are involved in the Early Years Self Improvement Project: Journey Towards Maturity, working with PVI’s across the borough.
The R&D SIG regularly reviews School Development Plan priorities across the schools to identify common areas of development on which we can work collaboratively.
